History

As far as Morocco is concerned, ALSA is active in urban, tourist, personal and school transport. Present in 6 big cities of Morocco: Marrakech, Agadir, Tangier, Khouribga, Rabat and Casablanca.

Currently, we have a total of  1745 buses (206 in Agadir, 257 in Marrakech, 192 in Tangier and 40 in Khouribga, 350 in rabat and soon 700 bus in casablanca…) which constitute an efficient and complete transport network with a high quality of service for the citizens of these large Moroccan cities.

Bus 1999

1999

Start of urban transport in the city of Marrakech.

2004

Two other peri-urban lines were added with the accession of the Chichaoua province to the peri-urban network.

 

Bus 2006

2006

The concession of exploitation of the first tourist bus in Morocco has been won, with two tours in Marrakech, the historic visit and the Palmeraie tour which completes and increases the tourist attraction of the city.

Start of urban transport in the city of Agadir

2012

ALSA AGADIR carried out a restructuring of certain lines, which led to the expansion of the peri-urban network and reached 37 lines and was also present in the province of Chtouka Ait Baha.

Bus 2013

2013

ALSA has won the delegated management of urban transport in the Tangier region.

2014

Opening of the Training Center of Transport Professionals for the certification of drivers approved by the Ministry of Transport.

Bus 2015

2015

ALSA took over the operation of the transport service in the city of Khouribga.

Signature of the UN Women Morocco Convention for the protection of women on the edge of public transport The accession of El Kelaa province of Sraghna and Rhamna to the peri-urban network of Marrakech, 42 lines were reached in total.

Bus 2016

2016

ALSA Marrakech thus becomes the first city on the African continent to have a 100% electric Bus Rapid Transit (BRT) network consisting of a high-capacity integrated transport system with reserved lanes and exchange poles.

Bus 2017

2017

ALSA begins to operate after the renewal, the contract of the tourist bus in Marrakech being the two-level buses 100% electric.
